Among more than 200 applications from all over Spain, Bettair has been chosen as one of the 10 best impacts entrepreneurial projects that seek to go beyond economic profitability and maximise its impact linked to health, the environment or the improvement of the quality of life of vulnerable groups.
Of these 10 projects, the selection committee of Tech4Climate that is formed by experts from the sector, members of the Ship2B team and the co-founder partners: Aigües de Barcelona, Griñó and Familia Torres, have chosen Bettair as one of the 5 startups with a focus on environmental impact.
We have already started working on our business model, impact management, communication strategies and other important aspects for our development through online training and face-to-face meetings. The first of these meetings have been held in Barcelona between October 8 and 9, where we have discussed our investment strategy with Dani Sánchez, from Nauta Capital, we have examined the Triple-Impact Certification with Pablo Sánchez, Director of B Lab Spain, and we have known the opportunities and benefits of collaborating with large companies with the co-founder of ship2B Clara Navarro.
During the next months, we will continue with the training and advice of expert professionals in the different sectors, in addition to promoting the generation of alliances with large companies and public entities to encourage our growth.
Throughout this time, the ship2B investment team evaluates a possible initial investment. This investment is made by Equity4Good, an investment vehicle managed by Ship2B and co-invested by the European Investment Fund. Normally other investors also invest in the startups.
